Ben F. Gray is a leader, pastor, speaker and consultant, who, through travelling the globe in church, mission and business activities, has developed communication and leadership skills to impact a generation for Jesus.
In the position of Senior Associate, Ben's multi-gifted leadership abilities and wide-ranging experience were utilized on a team that grew one of Australia's largest Baptist Churches.
In 1993, he founded the Australian Prayer Network (APN), now the largest prayer network in the South Pacific. He is a known leader in the prayer movement in the region and internationally, and is the apostolic oversight of the APN. Ben is the executive editor of ‘PrayerLink' that has operated as a key publication on prayer, mission and revival in Australia and the region since 1993; leader of strategic Prayer Journey's into 10/40 window nations and beyond since 1993. He has also held regional leadership in the AD2000 Movement and the Evangelical Fellowship of the South Pacific.
In 1996, Ben founded a new apostolic ministry called CityHarvest International, which functions in several local, national and international ministry and mission related roles. In 1998 he pioneered CityHarvest Church in Brisbane Queensland and with another team in 2001, a sister church in Caloundra City, Queensland. These are churches, seeking to position themselves within a strong kingdom paradigm.
In 1999, he commenced CityHarvest Publications promoting and publishing key Australian and international authors. As convener he, with CHI Conferences, holds key events across the nation and internationally, bringing timely and encouraging ministry to the body of Christ.
He has lead pastors' prayer and strategic leadership gatherings across the nation, working with church and community leaders in the City Transformation ministry of the Australian Prayer Network. In 2002, along with a number of city pastors in Brisbane, he pioneered a citywide network of churches and ministries, called BrizNet and is Chairman of the networks Yes! We Care, outreach.
Ben has a deep love for God and a strong commitment to people. His years of pastoral experience, and openness and sensitivity to the work of the Holy Spirit, combine to make his ministry style relaxed and discerning while being relevant, credible and practical. He is well known across the Church in his city, nation and internationally for his strong commitment to the kingdom of God in society and all creation.
