This course takes up the theology, biblical worldview and revelation of my book, and in a very practical way applies its true to the individual's vocation and calling in God. The key teaching in V4L informs and enlightens each person to the ‘Trinitarian' exploration of life and work in creation, which is found in 1 Cor. 12:4-6. As we unpacked this exploration last Saturday, those gathered began to build a greater understanding of who they were in relationship to every facet of their life and work as kingdom believers.
I find that most people have a small and incomplete view of what it means to be human. Not only is each person a truly incredible work of divine love and purpose, but so too is the entire creation. We are made in God's image, the pinnacle of His creative handiwork and the object of His affection. To grasp more fully this reality, our view of life needs to be enlarged. My Vocations 4Life course is designed to bring about that change. You see, God has a dream for you; His preferred best for your life and it's connected to His Divine Purpose for all of creation. Your part is to connect to it the best way you can, as He has a desire to see this dream fulfilled in and through your life. Amazingly, God's dream for you will often coincide with your hopes, dreams and passions. On Saturday we helped those gathered consider elements of their life that are uniquely their own, and how best to engage with each facet in a more holistic and kingdom way.
