| Discovered my Pathway |

While I was at CityHarvest, Brisbane, I admittedly was very lost, broken and depressed. Words cannot even begin to describe the hopelessness and lack of control I had felt I had in my life. Different circumstances had caused me to become an incredibly anxious and, in the end, a very depressed and fearful person. The Vocations 4 Life course led me to change into a career that I am now extremely passionate about. As lost as I was, I clearly remember after the course somehow mysteriously having the energy to fill out an application to go back to Uni, to start a new career in teaching. A total life change. It was through this course that I discovered my pathway and interests lay in the direction of people and teaching. Recently I finished my teaching degree, graduated with distinction and with an invitation to join the International Golden key club for the top 15% of graduates of their course. I never in my wildest dreams thought that any of that was possible two years ago. I am incredibly passionate about what I do and even had the comment on one of my prac-teaching reports ‘coped extremely well with a challenging class’! All honour and glory goes to God. I am still amazed at the wonderful things He has done in my life. It was all God’s work. I do not claim it as my own. I truly believe that it was the Vocations 4 Life course stirring God in me and turning my weaknesses and difficult circumstances into strengths that made it happen. Isaiah 51:3 - ‘For the Lord will surely comfort Zion and look with compassion on all her ruins. He will make her deserts like Eden and her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her and thanksgiving and the sound of singing.’ is a verse I can now identify with. God truly is a wonderful and compassionate God. Karen P

Ben sets forth a revelatory strategy for kingdom advance, tempered by insights gained through his extensive relationships with world-class apostolic leaders. This work … will mobilize the church before the second coming of Christ.
Heaven’s Answer to Earth’s Dilemma ... flowed nicely from the history of where we have come from as the church, and the ‘Greco-roman’ mindsets that have limited us from living in the supernatural Hebraic and eternal truths of our God. As the book so eloquently points out, knowledge does not equate to practice.
In Heaven’s Answer to Earth’s Dilemma, Ben Gray lifts our sights immensely. He describes the vast scenario in which God’s people are called to honor and serve Him – not only in church, but also in every realm of life; indeed throughout the whole of creation.
Ben Gray convincingly argues that, rather than functioning as an institution that scarcely exists outside its own walls, God intends for His church to be an ‘apostolic company’ that fulfils His creation mandate by living out the gospel in every sphere of society; marriage, family, work, tribe and nation.
