| I can do more |
|
During and since leaving school, I never thought that I could be able to achieve anything higher than a year 10 certificate. But doing Vocations 4 Life I realised that I could do more. I found some volunteer work at an Aged Care Facility (nursing home) as a diversional therapist which means that I help to encourage the will to live in the clients there so they can have a good quality of life. After doing many different paid jobs in my life I have finally found something that suits my character, personality and I enjoy this type of work very much. I found out that I have a grace on my life to pastor people in a practical way. I love people and I love to see their life get better because of things that I do. I have Asperges Syndrome but with God’s help everything is possible. The sky is the limit. My life has changed. I have more contentment and joy. No dream is too small or too big. Raylene Murdock

Ben Gray has written an excellent book that helps renovate our ideas of what church is and how we were designed to engage in society … Here is an apostolic vision that points the way to a more fruitful future by grounding us in a more faithful past.
Throughout history the Lord has raised up radical voices of reformation to challenge the church and to shift us out of our complacency. Ben Gray is one of those voices, and I pray that many outside of his native Australia will listen to his clearly prophetic message.
Ben Gray is asking important questions about the relevancy of the church as it is currently structured and mobilized in the 21st century. What is the church? How should it look NOW? I loved his fresh and exciting approach to these important questions.
Ben Gray is a natural when it comes to breaking down biblical concepts and expressing their significance to the world today. His knowledge of the Word and depth of insight define his biblical worldview from which comes fresh revelation for the body of Christ.
